The Carin Center serves as a vital catalyst in preparing our student-athletes for a successful season!
The $1.1M facility was built as an addition to Peden Football Stadium in 1999. The 10,000 square foot center holds state-of-the-art equipment such as platform areas, inclines, benches, squat bench stands, power backs, chinning bars, warm-up area, stretching and tumbling area, and plyometrics.
The facility is less than a 5 minute walk from Bird Arena. Players receive training 3-4x/week under the instruction of our Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Grover's Athletic Training Facility
The Grover Athletic Training Facility is designed to support recovery and performance optimization for our student-athletes.
Key offerings include electrical stimulation (Estim) for pain management and muscle activation, therapeutic ultrasound to promote tissue healing, and Normatecs compression systems for enhanced circulation and recovery.
The facility also provides warm and cold hydrotherapy pools, as well as manual therapy tools.
The Grover Athletic Training Facility is located in Grover Hall, next door to Bird Arena.
OHIO Hockey student-athletes are able to utilize this facility during training room hours, which are scheduled weekly by the Club Sports Athletic Trainer (AT).
